Elinor (Marshall) Benecci

Elinor (Marshall) (Rockwell) Benecchi of Brockton passed away on Thursday August 31, 2017 at the age of 100.

She was the beloved Wife of the late Wesley Rockwell and the late Carl Benecchi. Daughter of the late Kenneth L. and  Bernice (Kelley) Marshall.  The loving Mother of William W. Rockwell and his wife Linda of Plymouth and the late Marsha Rockwell Brown of Abington.  Grandmother of William Rockwell Jr., Richard Rockwell, Michelle Moquin, and Mark Brown. Also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren.

Elinor lived most of her life in East Bridgewater where she worked as a book keeper for Fernandi’s Super Market for over 15 years. She was an avid piano player,  a very artistic woman she loved knitting and making dolls. She wrote poetry about her family members and she also wrote seven books about her life.

Visiting hours will be in the Sampson-Hickey-Grenier Funeral Home 309 Main St., Brockton on Tuesday Morning 9 AM to 11 AM with services in the Funeral Home at 11 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
