About Us

The Death Care Profession is unlike any other “business”. The MacKinnon Family knows it is not just a business; we view funeral service as a calling or ministry to counsel and guide families through the funeral process. We are not just a “store front” with 9-5 operating hours. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. We don’t close the store and go home; we are part of the community. We collect “Cell Phones for Soldiers” and all our funeral homes are “Old Glory Collection Centers” where we accept old flags and retire them in a dignified manner. We teach Religious Education. We sponsor many youth athletic teams and contribute too many local charities in the Communities of Hanson, Brockton, Whitman, Pembroke, Easton, East Bridgewater and throughout the South Shore.

At MacKinnon Funeral Homes, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
