Ruth M (Ross) Benoit

Ruth M. (Ross) Benoit of Brockton and Yarmouthport passed away peacefully on Friday April 17, 2015. Ruth was born in Brockton on September 9, 1917,  daughter of the late Daniel and Christine (MacPherson) Ross.  Ruth was the wife of the late Walter N. Benoit, USN (retired). She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Walter and Ruth were known for their wonderful Cape Cod get-togethers on Kelly's Pond.

Ruth is survived by her children Jeffrey Benoit and his wife Barbara of Arlington, VA, and Deborah McGarry and her husband James of Cummaquid MA.  Also surviving  are her grandchildren,  Melissa, Elizabeth ,  Ross,  Scott,  great grandson Taylor and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service was held on  Saturday April 25, 2015 in Brockton. Arrangements by
 Sampson-Hickey-Grenier Funeral Home, Brockton.
