Heather Rebecca (Pinzari) Sherwood

Heather Rebecca Sherwood (Pinzari) passed away suddenly on November 3, 2016 at Saint Anne’s Hospital, due to complications from pneumonia. She was surrounded by her loving family. 

Heather was born on February 5, 1976 in Bangor, Maine, the first child of Stephen and Rebecca (Ball) Pinzari. Heather was a bright and inquisitive child who had a zealous drive to learn and an absolute love of reading. Heather grew up in North Easton, MA where she attended Oliver Ames High School. There, she was a member of the Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, Concert Choir, Show Choir, school newspaper and magazine, Mock Trial, National Honor Society, Drama Club and school musicals. She was passionate about music and performing, and continued to share her talents by participating in the collegiate orchestra and student musicals while attending Colby College, where she studied Philosophy. 

Heather and loving husband Andrew Sherwood, met in April of 2005 and were married on February 14, 2009. Together, they enjoyed music, British comedy, and taking care of their beloved pets, Shakespeare, Hawthorne and Moxie. 

Heather is survived by her husband, Andrew Sherwood, Parents Stephen and Rebecca (Ball) Pinzari, Sister Melissa K. Pinzari and Partner Greg Marathas, Sister Jennifer Pinzari Blotner and Husband Adam, Father and Mother-In-Law William and Nicola Sherwood, Sister-In-Law Lisa Koski and Husband Chad, Brother-In-Law Chris Sherwood and Wife Stacey, and Brother-In-Law Michael Sherwood. She leaves behind nephews Ryan and Jayden Sherwood and Matthew, Adam, and Jonathan Koski and niece Molly Koski, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Funeral services will be privately held. Memorial Donations may be made in Heather’s name to the MSPCA at www.mspca.org.
