Noella (Gregoire) Hastings

Noella (Gregoire) Hastings (W. Bridgewater) passed peacefully at home on May 30, 2018 at the age of 80 years old.  She was surrounded by her loved ones including her beloved sister, Therese Marshall (W. Bridgewater), whom she resided with for over 40 years; her beloved nieces Terry (Marshall) Disbrow (E. Bridgewater) and Christine (Marshall) Reardon (Brockton); and their children whom she loved as her own grandchildren: Aidan Reardon, Emma Reardon, Eric Disbrow Jr., Katelyn Disbrow and Ethan Disbrow.  She also leaves behind three sisters and two brothers in Canada, and many nephews and nieces.

Noella was one of ten children.  She moved to this country from Canada in 1964 where she settled in Brockton with her sister, Therese.  She was married to the late George Hastings.  She worked hard for 24 years in the garment factories of Brockton.  She then worked for about 12 years caring for the elderly as a home health aide.

At her request, there will be no services.  A private service will be held at a later date in her home town in Canada.
