Dorothee A. (Regis) Boisclair

Dorothee A. (Regis) Boisclair of East Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the age of 88. She was born in Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Adrien & Annette Regis and one of 13 children.  She was the loving wife of 63 years to Jean-Paul A. Boisclair.  In 1967 they packed up their family and moved to the United States not knowing a word of English.  She was a seamstress at MacKintosh on Court Street, Brockton, for many years and enjoyed knitting, sewing, babysitting her grandchildren and spending time with family.

Loving mother of Lucie Lovell and her husband Charles of Bridgewater, Jocelyne Meehan and her husband Paul of Hanson, and Richard Boisclair and his wife Susan of East Bridgewater.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Justin Lovell, Benjamin Lovell, Jamie Ballou and her husband Jonathan, Kassandra Meehan, Kyle Meehan, Kevin Meehan, Paige Boisclair and John Boisclair.

Visiting hours will be 1:00-3:00 pm on Sunday, November 25 at Sampson, Hickey, Grenier, 309 Main Street, Brockton, MA  02301.  A funeral mass will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 26th at St. John’s Church, 210 Central Street, East Bridgewater, MA  02333
