Marcia Ann Lurie

Marcia Ann Lurie 48, of Warwick, RI formerly of Brockton, died peacefully on November 21, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI after a short period of failing health. Marcia was born in Melrose, MA and was the daughter of the late Burton and Beverly Lurie. She was a graduate of Southeastern Regional High School 1987.

Marcia was employed at Speedway gas station prior to her passing. Marcia also worked for many years at Boston Medical Center and Morton Hospital. After high school graduation Marcia became a live in nanny and helped raise two boys John and Christopher McGrath who she loved as her own. She had a heart of gold and all of her family and friends will miss her tremendously.

Marcia was a sister to Diane Lurie- Scrima and her husband Peter of Monponsett and Phillip and his fiance Dawn Manion of Lakeville. She was a loving and caring auntie to Patrick Warner of Norwood, Michael Warner of Brockton, Brittney, Kaitlynn, Savannah, Phillip Jr, and Benjamin of Lakeville, MA.
