Middleboro- Robert "Bob" W. Lundberg Sr. 76, passed away Wednesday March 18, 2015 at his home in Oak Point after a short illness.
He had several jobs but always wanted a business of his own. Bob went to HVAC school and started "Bob's Burner Service." He was very proud to be a part of the Coast Guard in Maine and being a veteran was close to his heart. He enjoyed cruising and traveling all over the country with his wife Elaine, was an avid reader and loved to cook his Swedish foods for family and friends. Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting with long time friend Danny Cobb. He expressed himself with his artwork of lighthouses, sailboats and the ocean. His pride and joy of family and friends could be easily recognized when you walked into the room to see the beaming smile and open arms.
Bob was born in Brockton to the late Walter and Jenny (Tucker) Lundberg and brother of the late Barbara Lundin. He was the loving husband of Elaine Lundberg. He was the devoted father to Thor Lundberg and his wife Kasi of Colorado, Rob Lundberg and his wife Kathy of Virginia, Eric Lundberg and his wife Michelle of California, Mark Bulman and his wife Hannah of Maryland, Judy Littlefield and Darrell Kohr of Abington and the late Cindy Blevins of Florida; the cherished grandfather and great grandfather to grandchildren Evan, Seth, Christine, Britta, Stefan, Steven, Heather and the late Daniel and great grandchildren Evan and Aiden. The family will be gathering with friends and relatives at the Sampson-Hickey-Grenier Funeral Home 309 Main St., Brockton Thursday March 26th, 4-6 PM, with services at 6 PM in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
