Betty M. (Broomhead) Olson

Holbrook- Betty M. Olson, 82, passed following a brief illness January 28, 2020, at Brockton Hospital.

She was born February 24, 1937 in Taunton Ma, the daughter of John T. and Harriet A.(Baker) Broomhead of Taunton. Wife of the late Adelbert L Olson of Brockton.

Betty worked many years for Randolph Engineering in Randolph MA, proudly assembling aviator eye ware for the United States Military. One of her favorite pastimes were to take long drives and visit the local flea markets with her long time companion the late Joseph Rose.

She had a great love for cats and spoiled her own completely. She will be remembered as a sweet, kind and gentle person. Often referred to as “Betty Boop” by her friends. She will be dearly missed by her family and all that loved her.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased and now reunited with her beloved son Robert Olson. Survived by her son Leonard (Ed) Olson and his wife Eileen of Brockton; Daughter in law Cherry, wife of the late Robert Olson of Whitman; her grand daughter Nicole and grandsons Andrew and Mathew; Her brother Ronald Broomhead of Middleboro.

Services for Betty will be private for the family.
