Yvonne Wilson-Nelson of Brockton age 68 spread her wings in the gates of Heaven on October 24, 2016 at her home with her Family in Brockton. She was born on the first month, ninth day, in 1948, in Philadelphia, PA to Rose Johnson and Herbert Wilson. Yvonne was raised in Philadelphia, PA but later moved to Boston, MA with her father when she was thirteen years old.
Later on Yvonne attended Wilfred Academy Hair School in Boston. On January 3, 1970 Yvonne married David Nelson in Boston, MA and they were married for 46 years. Her spirit lives on in the lives of brothers Allen Wilson, Michael Wilson, Herbert Wilson, Gregory Wilson Darryl Wilson, and Kenneth Wilson, and her sister Sherry Wilson. Her daughters, Yvette Nelson, Natasha Nelson, and son David Nelson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jatara Nelson, Shanea Twitty, Chavez Twitty, Rayquan Nelson, Shavon Nelson, Chailin, Pete, Nelson, and Taevon Twitty, and a great grandson who will be born on November 9th.
Arrangement were by the Sampson-Hickey-Grenier Funeral Home in Brockton.
