Ernestine R Lyon

Ernestine R. Lyon of Brockton passed away on April 14, 2014 at the Colony Center Nursing Home in Abington. She was 92 years old. She was born in Brockton; daughter of the late Frank C. & Nellie C. (Braley) Lyon.

She was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1940 and the Eliot Commercial School in 1941. She worked for Eastern Massachusetts Railway in the 1950’s, Eaton Mail Order for 13 years, and many years as a clerk for the City of Brockton Water Department.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 22, at 11 am in the Sampson-Hickey-Grenier Funeral Home 309 Main St., Brockton with burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
